Rain falls

Mountains are somewhat like big sponges. When the rain falls they soak it up. It's a good thing we can't squeeze mountains.

Ike Paterson has this contraption up on Wild Boar Creek. You know, lots of tubes. He cools the tubes with some water from Wild Boar. Wild Boar Mountain provides Ike with a lot. Down in the bottom under Wild Boar he grows some mighty nice corn. He plants enough for the raccoons and still has plenty at the end of the season. He pulls wood for his fire off the side of that mountain.

One of the best things though is the spring water that trickles out of some rocks near the creek. Ike mixes that spring water with his elixir and let me tell you, it tastes mighty good.
