Black out

During WWII they used to cover their windows at night so that the enemy aircraft would have difficulty picking out targets to bomb. They even covered up the Uffington White Horse to dis-orient the German pilots.

With GPS systems the need for blackout probably is an anachronism.

I've been pummeling a friend to get off her duff and flow through with a challenge. She finally got a bit more ambitious. We'll see. She lives up Barnardsville way- talk about a place that used to be the middle of just about nowhere. Darn land investors are trashing the place.

Here is the link to her blog and there is a link there to her web site. I gave up on the hunt. Now she's going to take a whack at it.

Here's her spot:

I'd tell you to run up to her place and buy some of her crafts but I don't like to be so darn commercial.
