I learned something

I learned something that I already knew.

Blogs can reach out and bite you in the ass.

I watched events unfold yesterday. Someone put a hot link on a web site to a blog. Then they proceeded to post blog material that really should have been better considered.

Blogs are open to the public. What you write is there for all to read.

I know that. You know that.

Consider the potential audience. That means not only their reading skills but their background. Every reader is bring his/her background to your blog.

I don't think this blog has sunk a political campaign yet. There is still hope.
